Our mission is to upgrade the quality of public discussion of local policy problems and political issues. We aim to accomplish this by establishing productive and respectful conversations where members of our communities can engage with diverse perspectives and multiple visions for a better Chicago, and by educating residents on how to navigate the public sphere and government bureaucracy. We seek to bridge differences - over even the most contentious issues - and reach accommodation on matters integral to the well-being of our communities. Finally, we plan to recommend impactful changes that will reflect our shared concerns and fresh insights.
